IRVING, Texas - UTEP remains in the driver's seat for the 2012 Conference USA regular season title as the Miners pushed their league record to a flawless 10-0 with a home victory over Marshall (13-10, 4-6 C-USA) on Thursday. Head coach Keitha Adams' team (21-2, 10-0) treated a season-high 4,167 fans to their 21st win and 11th consecutive victory. Tulane also extended its winning streak to six games with a 20-point win over host Houston, 71-51. The Green Wave (18-5, 7-3) had all 11 players finish in the scoring column against the Cougars (2-10, 1-9). UAB and Memphis also picked up victories and remained tied for second in the conference standings with six games remaining. The Blazers (17-5, 8-2) won their fourth straight and polished off a season sweep of East Carolina with a 58-47 win at Bartow Arena. UAB is now 17-5 for just the third time in program history and the first time since 1993-94. The team's 8-2 league start is tied for the best in its C-USA history. Despite being outrebounded 51-39, Memphis (18-5, 8-2) left Dallas with a 60-55 victory over SMU. The Tigers harassed the Mustangs (12-11, 5-5) into 22 turnovers that were converted into 16 points.

C-USA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL RESULTS & HIGHLIGHTS
THURSDAY, FEB. 9 HIGHLIGHTS
at UAB 58, East Carolina 47 UAB (17-5, 8-2): Junior G Amber Jones scored a game-high 16 points as four Blazers reached double figures for the second time in three games.
ECU (6-17, 0-10): Sophomore transfer F Kristine Mial scored a team-high 13 points as ECU cut a 14 point halftime deficit down to six in the second half.
Tulane 71, at Houston 51 TLN (18-5, 7-3): Freshman F Adesuwa Ebomwonyi scored a career-high 17 points and all 11 players to make the trip scored at least two points.
HOU (2-20, 1-9): Senior G Roxana Button scored a game-high 18 points, while freshman G Amanda Lawson added 10.
Memphis 60, at SMU 55 MEM (18-5, 8-2): Senior F Jasmine Lee finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds for her C-USA-best 11 double-double, while junior F Nicole Dickson finished with 12 points and nine rebounds.
SMU (12-11, 5-5): Sophomore G Raven Short scored a career-high 16 points and fellow classmate Akil Simpson had 14 points and 11 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the season.
at UTEP 64, Marshall 56 UTEP (21-2, 10-0): Sophomore F Kayla Thornton had game highs of 19 points and 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season.
MAR (13-10, 4-6): Senior G Alaya Mitchell 8-of-8 from the free throw line and scored one field goal for a team-best 10 points.
