INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana - UTEP and Middle Tennessee along with six individuals will represent Conference USA at the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Regionals which will take place May 15-17. C-USA has fielded multiple NCAA Regional squads every season since 2004. Team and individual medalist titles will be decided May 26-31 at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois.

UTEP, the 2017 Conference USA Men's Golf Champions, is making its 14th NCAA appearance and will be playing in the Sammamish, Washington Regional at Aldarra Golf Club. Last week, the Miners won their first C-USA title and only the second league title in program history (1985). Two-time C-USA Golfer of the Year Frederik Dreier will be leading the way for the Miners after the senior had a team-high in tournaments played (11), season stroke average (71.10), lowest round (64) and top-10 finishes (six).

Middle Tennessee will be making its seventh NCAA trip in 10 years as the Blue Raiders are also host in the College Grove Regional in College Grove, Tennessee. The Blue Raiders' lineup will be led by senior Joey Savoie, who earned All-C-USA First-Team after leading MT in season-stroke average (71.70) and tying a team-best three top-10 marks on the season. Ilari Saulo, who earned C-USA Freshman of the Year honors, will look to add on to his impressive rookie campaign that saw him capture the squad's only individual title and three top-10 finishes as well.

Charlotte senior Seth Gandy the 2017 C-USA Championship medalist, will head to the College Grove Regional to represent the 49ers. Gandy qualifies as an individual for the second-straight year, continuing Charlotte's streak of 13-straight years getting into postseason play. The senior was one of four Niners to play in all 11 tournaments and 32 rounds this season compiling a team-best 72.81 stroke average.

A trio of North Texas golfers - will travel to University of Texas Golf Club for the Austin, Texas Regional including senior Cory Churchman and sophomores Ian Snyman and Thomas Rosenmueller. Snyman, a first-team selectee. had the squad's best round (67) and an impressive fourth place finish at the Wolf Run Intercolliegate. Churchman earned his second consecutive place on the conference's second team, and averaged a single round score of 73.65 on the season, and was the team's highest finisher at the C-USA Championship, tying for second at even par. Rosenmueller was also named to the second team and averaged a single round score of 73.45, and finished in a tie for seventh at the C-USA Championship

Rounding out the individual competitors are juniors R.J. Keur of UAB and UTSA's Zander Lozano. Both players will be headed to the University Club at Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Keur, an All-C-USA First Team honoree, registered a team-high two top-five finishes including one that earned him C-USA Player of the Week honors. Lozano was named to the second-team after leading Roadrunners with a career-best 71.79 stroke average and seven top-20 finishes, including a pair of individual titles.
