IRVING, Texas - Fresh off their first Conference USA Men's Tennis Championship title run, Old Dominin fell 4-1 in the first round to South Carolina. No. 117 Aziz Kijametovic lost to No. 53 Felix Corwin of Minnesota (6-4, 6-4) in the round of 64 at the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Singles Championship.

Vincent Schneider earned the Monarch's only point after defeating South Carolina’s Thomas Mayronne (6-2, 6-1) in the No. 3 singles spot. The loss ended the Monarchs’ 11-match win streak, in which they had outscored opponents 46-12.
