A 13-point victory for Southern Miss at FIU on Friday was made possible by a career offensive effort from Hardy. The Georgia native turned in 20 points on 8-of-12 field goal shooting, sinking his lone 3-point attempt, as the team shot 61 percent to tab its best field goal clip since January 2019. 19 of Hardy’s points came in the second half as the Golden Eagles worked to erase a 16-point deficit and mark a season-high point total. The guard also added six rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal in 31 minutes that night before Saturday’s finale was postponed due to COVID-19 protocols.
