BKB: CUSA Basketball Tipoff Achieves Lift Off from Huntsville

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Conference USA embarked on a new frontier in "Rocket City," the future host of the CUSA Basketball Championships, as the league hosted media for the 2023 CUSA Basketball Tipoff presented by Trilogy NextGen at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala.

All nine schools' men's and women's teams were represented by their head coaches and a student-athlete at the event that included a three-plus hour live production on ESPN+ hosted by John Schriffen, press conferences and one-on-one interviews for attending media, photo/video shoots, sessions with the league's broadcast partners, and more.
   
CUSA Commissioner Judy MacLeod also spoke as part of the event to preview the upcoming 2023-24 basketball season. A complete list of the 18 student-athletes and head coaches that participated is listed below:
