DALLAS – No. 38 FIU claimed its second Conference USA Women’s Tennis Championship since winning the title in 2018. After moving indoors to SMU’s Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex Sunday morning due to inclement weather, the FIU Panthers defeated the Rice Owls 4-1. The win gives the Panthers an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
 
The NCAA Women’s Tennis Selection Show is set for Monday, May 1 and the Championships will take place May 17-27 at USTA National Campus (Collegiate Center) in Orlando, Fla.
