DALLAS – Middle Tennessee’s Pavel Motl was named a 2023 third team Academic All-American by the College Sports Communicators on Wednesday.
 
Motl earned a 4.0 GPA during his time as a Blue Raider, pursuing a degree in Sport Management and Industry. The graduate student from the Czech Republic was apart of the four consecutive C-USA tournament titles and has been named to the C-USA All-Academic twice in his career.
 
In his fifth year as a Blue Raider, Motl recorded a singles record of 17-5 and a doubles mark of 20-5. His 20 doubles victories led the team and the 17 singles wins was tied for third-most.
