LYNCHBURG, Va. – FIU and Louisiana Tech secured their spots in the championship final of the 2025 Conference USA Women’s Tennis Championship on Friday. In the semifinal matches, No. 1 seeded FIU shutout No. 5 Liberty, 4-0 and third-seeded LA Tech defeated second-seeded Middle Tennessee in a gritty upset, 4-1, to clinch championship berths.
 
FIU is looking to secure its third consecutive conference championship title. Louisiana Tech is set to make its first appearance in the CUSA Championship in program history. On Saturday, the Panthers and the Bulldogs will go head-to-head for the conference crown.
