MTEN: MTSU Earns Bid to 2025 NCAA Championship

DALLAS – MTSU will represent Conference USA at the 2025 NCAA Men’s Tennis Team Championships, the NCAA announced Monday. Dates and times for the matches have not yet been determined and will be released at a later date.
 
The 48th-ranked Blue Raiders are headed to Knoxville, Tenn., to face No. 16 Duke (18-8). MTSU (16-11) clinched an automatic berth after claiming its sixth consecutive CUSA championship. It marks the 17th appearance for Middle Tennessee and seventh appearance at the NCAA Tournament for Jimmy Borendame as head coach.
 
The first and second rounds of the championship will be held May 2-3. The winner of each site will advance to super-regional competition on May 9 or 10. The super-regional winners will head to Hurd Tennis Center in Waco, Texas, where eight teams will compete for the national title on May 15-18.
