DALLAS – Western Kentucky’s Sydney Hackett and UTEP’s Dylan Teeter were named Conference USA’s first Golfers of the Week to begin the 2025 fall season.
 
CUSA Women’s Golfer of the Week – Sydney Hackett – WKU – Sr. – Ashburn, Va.
Hackett finished tied for 13th in the Boilermaker Classic, hosted by Purdue, with a 2-over score for the tournament. The senior improved each round, shooting 3-over in the first, 1-over in the second and 2-under in the third. Her third round score helped lift her eight spots in the standings on the final day. Overall, she tied for the best average on Par 3s, averaging 2.75 strokes and had 11 birdies, which was tied for the sixth most of any player in the tournament.
 
CUSA Men’s Golfer of the Week – Dylan Teeter – UTEP – Fifth Year – Bixby, Okla.
Teeter finished as the top Miner, tying for sixth overall after penciling in a 12-under par 204 (67-71-66) at South Dakota State's Island Resort Intercollegiate. Teeter tallied 15 birdies and three bogeys on the weekend. Teeter moved up six spots after firing a 6-under par 66 and recording six birdies with zero bogeys during the third round.
