GOLF: September 10 Golfers of the Week

DALLAS – Missouri State’s Chloe Bolte and UTEP’s Dylan Teeter earned Conference USA’s week two Golfers of the Week honors.

CUSA Women's Golfer of the Week – Chloe Bolte, Missouri State – Fr.– Sumner, Iowa
In her first collegiate tournament, Bolte set the Missouri State record for 54 holes, shooting 71-71-68--210 to tie for first place before dropping a sudden-death playoff on the first hole to the reigning junior college national champion. She led the Bears to a 15-stroke win in their season opener at the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial. Missouri State shot 287-288-291--866 to earn first place and miss the team school 54-hole scoring record by a shot.

CUSA Men’s Golfer of the Week – Dylan Teeter – UTEP – Fifth Year – Bixby, Okla.
Teeter (67-68-67) earns his second consecutive CUSA Golfer of the Week honor, tying for second place after hitting the links for a career-best 14-under par 202 at the Whirlwind Invitational at Whirlwind G.C. (par 72 | 7,222 yards) on Sept. 8-9, in Chandler, Ariz. The fifth-year golfer recorded his eighth career top-10 finish and was the top Miner for the 14th time. Teeter tallied 14 birdies during the two-day event and recorded an eagle on hole 17 in the first round. Teeter is coming off a solid start to the season after a tied-for-sixth-place finish last week. Teeter has penciled in a 67.7 stroke average in his first two tournaments of the fall season.
