DALLAS – WKU’s Callie Bauer was recognized as one of just 21 members to the 2025 College Sports Communicators’ Academic All-America Volleyball Team, announced by the organization Tuesday.
 
Bauer earned Third Team recognition as a senior majoring in Business Management with a 3.88 GPA. She became only the third player in WKU history to earn CSC Academic All-American, joining Natalie Fury (2002) and Paige Briggs (2023). The Hudson, Michigan, native was named to the 2025 CUSA All-Academic team, earning her third honor.

On the volleyball court, Bauer led the Hilltoppers with 1,109 assists enroute to a 27-5 overall record, 11^th regular season title and 10^th conference tournament title. She was also tabbed Conference USA’s Alyssa Cavanaugh Player of the Year, Setter of the Year and Tournament MVP.
