DALLAS – Liberty claimed the women’s weekly tennis awards with Milana Tsulygina being named Conference USA’s Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week and the team of Yoanna Radulova and Maria Turchetto earning the Doubles Team of the Week honors. On the men’s side, Middle Tennessee’s Eric Crivei has been named Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week and New Mexico State’s pair of Lance Urlaub and Holland Snell have earned the Men’s Doubles Team of the Week honor.
 
CUSA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week - Milana Tsulygina, Liberty - Fr. - UFA, Russia
Tsulygina went 2-0 last week at the No. 5 singles spot, leading Liberty to a 4-0 sweep over Bellarmine and a 7-0 sweep over CUSA foe Delaware. The freshman took down Bellarmine’s Lillie Willis 6-0, 6-3 on Thursday, and bested Delaware’s Lara Russiniello 6-2, 6-2 on Friday. She improved to 3-1 in singles to start her Liberty and college career, her only loss coming from No. 4 Auburn’s Eva Ionescu 6-6. 7-6 (3).
 
CUSA Women's Doubles Team of the Week - Liberty
Yoanna Radulova -  So. - Plovdiv, Bulgaria
Maria Turchetto - Jr. - Florianópolis, Brazil
The pair of Radulova and Turchetto led Liberty doubles in the No. 1 position to a 2-0 week with pairs of sweeps over Bellarmine (4-0) and CUSA foe Delaware (7-0). The team topped Bellarmine's Kryslova and Parker 6-3, then bested Delaware's and CUSA's Conference Master's representatives, Hrynashka and Jurkowska 6-3. They improved to 3-0 this season and 10-3 together for the year.
 
CUSA Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week - Eric Crivei, MTSU - So. – Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada
This past week, sophomore Crivei defeated Harvard's Marc Ktiri, 6-2, 6-1, on court No. 5 which contributed to Middle Tennessee's overall win against Harvard, 6-1. This marked the first time MTSU defeated Harvard since the 2003 season. Additionally, Crivei secured a singles triumph over UAB's Hoan Mouret, winning 7-5, 6-3. Crivei currently holds a record of 4-0 in singles matches while playing in the fourth court lineup.
 
CUSA Men's Doubles Team of the Week – NM State
Lance Urlaub - Jr. – Phoenix, Ariz.
Holland Snell - So. – El Paso, Texas
The duo of Snell and Urlaub proved to be a consistent force for the Aggies in Las Vegas, posting a 2–0 record with one match going unfinished while competing at the No. 2 doubles position. Their strong performances were instrumental in helping NM State secure a 2–1 team record at the UNLV Quad. The pair earned a 6–2 victory over Weber State to clinch the doubles point and followed with a dominant 6–0 sweep against UC Riverside. Against UNLV, they held a commanding 5–2 advantage before the match was halted and ruled unfinished.
