Eric Dibami earned Conference USA Men’s Basketball weekly honors. The 2025-26 Players of the Week are voted on by the league’s sports information directors.
CUSA Player of the Week – Zach Cleveland, Liberty – Sr. – F – Bloomington, Ill.
Cleveland earns Player of the Week honors after posting his first career triple-double in Liberty’s (20-3, 12-0 CUSA) 79-76 win over Missouri State on Saturday. The Flames secured their 14
th straight win and improved to 12-0 at home and 12-0 in league action. The senior forward became the 12
th player in CUSA history to record a triple-double in a league contest and the last since Rice’s Max Fiedler during the 2022-23 season. Cleveland posted 19 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists in Saturday’s victory. On the week, he averaged 11.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 10.0 assists and shot 62.5 percent (10-16) from the field.
CUSA Freshman of the Week – Eric Dibami, FIU – Fr. – F – Yaounde, Cameroon
Dibami claims his second Freshman of the Week of the season as he led the Panthers (11-12, 4-8 CUSA) to a 1-1 week with a road win at MTSU. The freshman big man averaged 12.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists. In Wednesday's overtime win in Murfreesboro, Dibami recorded his fifth career double-double as he notched 10 points and grabbed 10 boards. He followed that performance with 14 points and six rebounds in a loss at WKU on Saturday.
