FRISCO, Texas. - Day one of the 2026 Energy Transfer Conference USA Women's Golf Championship opened with WKU firing an opening round even at the Stonebriar Country Club Fazio Golf Course. WKU’s Sydney Hackett, FIU’s Catalina Harvey, Jax State’s Julie Ulvenes Kleppe and NM State’s Rylee Salome are all tied individually for first place, shooting two-under 70.
 
The Lady Toppers shot an even 288 to take a four-stroke lead on the par-72 course. Leah Edwards (-1) and Averi Cline (E) join Hackett in the top-10 as they enter round two in fifth and tied for sixth place, respectively. Sam Houston is in second place after finishing with a 292. Amelia Guo led the way for the Bearkats, shooting an even 72, while Bomyeong Lee (+1) and Pureun Kim (+1) also had strong performances.
 
Tuesday's second round is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. CT as the teams at the top look to build separation, and the remainder of the field looks to push themselves back into contention.
