DALLAS – WKU’s Georgia Liapis, MTSU’s Emma Brown and Liberty’s Peyton Huber earned the final Conference USA Women’s Soccer Player of the Week honors of 2025.
 
Offensive Player of the Week – Georgia Liapis, WKU – Junior – Plainfield, Ill.
Liapis was named CUSA Offensive Player of the Week after leading WKU (9-4-3, 6-0-2 CUSA) to a 1-0 road win to close out the season and clinch a share of the regular season championship. The junior midfielder scored the game-winning goal in the 40^th minute, marking the second consecutive match she has done so. She now has nine goals on the campaign, which ranks second in CUSA and ties for the seventh-most in a single season In WKU history.  
 
Defensive Player of the Week – Emma Brown, MTSU – Graduate – Middlesbrough, England
Brown earns her first weekly honor of the season after leading MTSU (10-5-3, 5-2-1 CUSA) to their second consecutive clean sheet to end the regular season. The graduate defender played the full 90 minutes in the last three matches as her leadership in the defensive unit pushed the Blue Raiders into the No. 4 seed in the CUSA Championship. MTSU recorded eight shutouts on the year and four of which came in league play.
 
Goalkeeper of the Week – Peyton Huber, Liberty – R-Sophomore – Knoxville, Tenn.
Huber claimed the final CUSA Goalkeeper of the Week award of 2025 after pitching her fourth shutout in CUSA play. With the 2-0 win over Sam Houston, the Flames (11-3-4, 6-0-2 CUSA) secured a share of the regular season title. She made two saves on nine shots faced and now qualifies for top-10 nationally with a 0.47 goals-against average.
