WBB: December 29 Players of the Week

DALLAS – Missouri State’s Kaemyn Bekemeier and Maiesha Washington earned Conference USA Women’s Basketball weekly honors. The 2025-26 Players of the Week are voted on by the league’s sports information directors.
 
CUSA Player of the Week – Kaemyn Bekemeier, Mo State – Jr. – G – Republic, Mo.
Bekemeier posted career highs in points (24), rebounds (14) and assists (5) in a 65-61 victory over Central Arkansas. She shot an efficient 8-12 from the field, a perfect 3-3 from downtown and 5-6 from the line. Her 24 points marked her 12th double-figure scoring performance of the season and fifth 20-point game. Bekemeier ranks first in CUSA in defensive rebounds per game (7.1) and second in scoring average (17.15).  
 
CUSA Freshman of the Week – Maiesha Washington, Mo State – F – Fayetteville, Ark.  
Washington scored a career-high 14 points in Mo State's win over Central Arkansas. She also matched her career-high in rebounds with eight. The freshman forward played 23 minutes off the bench, and the Lady Bears were +9 with her on the floor.
