Three teams enter the third and final round of stroke play tied for second place in Middle Tennessee, UTEP and Sam Houston. Sam Houston shot a 5-under 283 to climb three spots up the leaderboard. UTEP posted a round of 4-under 284 to move up from fourth place, while MTSU remained steady in second place after shooting +1.
Wednesday’s third round will start at 8 a.m. CT, where all teams will battle for a spot in the top-four to secure a place in Thursday’s match play competition.
After three rounds of stroke play, the top-four teams will advance to match play to determine the conference’s team champion on Thursday, April 24. The individual champion will be crowned at the conclusion of stroke play on Wednesday, April 23.
