MGOLF: Liberty, Four Individuals Bound NCAA Regionals

INDIANAPOLIS – Conference USA men’s golf champion Liberty earned the 11th seed in the Corvallis Regional, while four CUSA individual student-athletes qualified to compete in the 2026 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Regionals. 
 
The Flames won the CUSA crown for the second time in three years at Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Ark., back on April 23, to earn Conference USA’s automatic bid. Liberty will face a competitive field, led by No. 1-seeded Arkansas at the Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, Ore.
 
As individuals, Kennesaw State’s Shaun Cook qualified to the Athens Regional, Middle Tennessee’s Carter Maneth qualified to the Columbus Regional and UTEP’s Dylan Teeter, along with New Mexico State’s Javier Delgadillo will play in the Marana Regional. Delgadillo was named the CUSA Individual Champion, while Teeter and Maneth earned All-Tournament honors.
 
NCAA Regional action is scheduled for May 18-20. The NCAA Men’s Golf Championship will be held May 29-June 3 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. Texas is the host institution for the 2026 championships.
 
Championship Format
Six 54-hole regional tournaments will be conducted May 18-20. Thirteen teams and 10 individuals not on those teams will compete at each of three regionals while the other three regionals will have 14 teams and five individuals not on those teams. The top five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each regional will advance to the finals. 
 
The low five teams and low individual from each region will qualify for a spot in the championship finals. Thirty teams and six individuals in total will compete in the finals from Friday, May 29 to Wednesday, June 3 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
 
Corvallis Regional Site
The Corvallis Regional will be played at Trysting Tree Golf Club in Corvallis, Ore., and will be hosted by Oregon.

Athens Regional Site
The Athens Regional will be played at UGA Golf Course in Athens, Ga. and will be hosted by Georgia.
CUSA Individuals: Shaun Cook, Kennesaw State  
 
Columbus Regional Site
The Columbus Regional will be played at OSU Golf Club in Columbus, Ohio, and will be hosted by Ohio State.
CUSA Individual: Carter Maneth, Middle Tennessee
 
Marana Regional Site
The Marana Regional will be played at Gallery Golf Club in Marana, Ariz., and will be hosted by Arizona.
