DALLAS – Conference USA tabbed 11 student-athletes to its 2025 CUSA Softball All-Academic Team Friday afternoon. Nine schools are represented, led by Liberty and LA Tech, each with two selections.
Two individuals garnered their second-straight all-academic recognition in Liberty’s
Rachel Roupe and UTEP’s
Ajia Richard.
Roupe owns a 3.84 GPA in public health and leads CUSA in seven offensive categories in league play. Richard boasts a 3.87 GPA as an education major and ranks fifth nationally in batting average (.493) and 12
th in on-base percentage (.570).
Seven of the 11 honorees have a GPA of 3.92 or better, including three with perfect 4.0 marks in Liberty’s
Paige Doerr, LA Tech’s
KB Briley and NM State’s
Kristiana Watson.
The team also includes FIU speedster
Kally Meredith, who ranks eighth nationally in stolen bases per game (0.80) and 14
th in stolen base percentage (.929).
The 2025 CUSA Softball Championship will be held May 7-10 in Bowling Green, Ky.
