BSB: Conference USA Announces All-Academic Team

DALLAS – Conference USA tabbed 11 student-athletes to its 2025 CUSA Baseball All-Academic Team Friday afternoon. Eight schools are represented, led by Kennesaw State, MTSU and NM State with two selections each.
 
DBU’s Grant Jay, MTSU’s Eston Snider and NM State’s Mitch Namie garnered their second consecutive All-Academic team nod. Jay boasts a 3.71 GPA as a junior student pursuing his degree in Kinesiology. Snider is a two-time member of the squad as he has maintained a nearly perfect 3.98 GPA in Business Management. Namie owns an incredible 3.91 GPA while studying accounting in Las Cruces.
 
MTSU’s Tyler Minnick and NM State’s Jonatan Clough each produced a perfect 4.00 GPA. Minnick is a junior catcher who is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration. Clough, despite a season-ending injury in early March, has continued to excel in the classroom with a perfect GPA while studying sociology.
 
Six more student-athletes earned their first all-academic recognition. FIU’s Hector Candelas, Jax State’s Steven Cash, Kennesaw State's Nate Anderson and Aaron Posey, Sam Houston’s Brady Christensen and WKU’s Cal Higgins all demonstrated a record of academic excellence while playing pivotal roles in their team’s success in 2025.
 
The 2025 CUSA Baseball Championship will be held May 21-25 in Lynchburg, Va. Championship action begins with a four-game slate starting at 9 a.m. ET on Wednesday.
