DALLAS – Following standout performances over the weekend, DBU’s Chayton Krauss, Jax State left-hander Eli Pillsbury and MTSU left-hander Cole Torbett earned CUSA weekly honors.
 
CUSA Hitter of the Week – Chayton Krauss, DBU – Sr. – INF – Coppell, Texas
Krauss secures CUSA Hitter of the Week recognition after a monster week at the plate for the Patriots (23-17, 12-6 CUSA). The senior infielder hit .438 (7-16) across four games, along with four home runs, two doubles 10 RBI and 21 total bases. The native of Coppell, Texas, launched a homer in each of the four contests with the one coming on Friday being his 40^th career long ball. Krauss became just the fourth player in program history to reach 200 career hits and 40 home runs.
 
CUSA Co-Pitcher of the Week – Eli Pillsbury, Jax State – R-Jr. – LHP – Newburg, Ind.
Pillsbury claims his first CUSA Pitcher of the Week honor in 2026 after allowing no earned runs over a career-high 8.0 innings for the Gamecocks (33-8, 16-2 CUSA). The Newburg, Ind., native, improved a league-best 6-0 on the campaign and lowered his ERA to 1.92 in 56.1 innings. He set the tone on Friday night for Jax State, striking out six in a 4-2 win as they went on to sweep the series over FIU.
 
CUSA Co-Pitcher of the Week – Cole Torbett, MTSU – R-Jr. – LHP – Johnson City, Tenn.
Torbett made just his third start of the season in Sunday’s series finale against Delaware and delivered a gem for the Blue Raiders (21-19, 8-10 CUSA). The redshirt junior southpaw hurled a career-high 8.2 shutout innings on 116 pitches, while allowing just four singles and walking one. Torbett also matched his career-best with six strikeouts. His brilliant performance led the way to MTSU’s 4-0 win and series sweep.
