Kate Roberts and UTEP’s
Dylan Teeter have been named Conference USA’s Golfers of the Week the league announced Wednesday afternoon.
Energy Transfer CUSA Women’s Golfer of the Week – Kate Roberts, Delaware – So. – Phoenixville, Pa.
Roberts was Delaware’s top finisher for the second-straight tournament, tying for 25th at the Terps Invitational, hosted by Maryland. The sophomore drained six birdies over her three rounds. She led Delaware to a seventh-place finish in the challenging 16-team field to close out the regular season.
CUSA Men's Golfer of the Week – Dylan Teeter, UTEP – Sr. – Bixby, Okla.
Teeter (71-67-70) was the top Miner for the seventh time this season, tying for sixth after firing 8-under par 208 at Wyoming's Cowboy Classic. It was the senior’s best finish since September. Teeter tied for the team lead and tied for eighth in the field with 14 birdies. In the third round, he moved up two spots after shooting 2-under par 70 and his 67 in the second round tied for his season-low. The Miners tied for seventh with #45 South Florida in a field of 25.
