KENNESAW, Ga. – No. 1 Jax State defeated and eliminated No. 4 DBU 6-5 on Saturday afternoon of the 2026 CUSA Baseball Championship from Mickey Dunn Stadium at Henssler Financial Field on the campus of Kennesaw State. The Gamecocks advance to their second consecutive CUSA title game and will play the winner of the Missouri State and Liberty matchup at 11 a.m. ET on Sunday on CBS Sports Network.
 
Jax State and DBU were tied at 4-4 as the Gamecocks entered the eighth inning. Luke Williams singled through the right side, leading Ace Williamson to score. The Patriots tied the game once again at the top of the ninth with an RBI double. Cooper Blauser drew a bases-loaded walk-off walk at the bottom of the ninth to send Jax State to the CUSA Championship game.
 
DBU’s season comes to a close with an overall record of 32-26.
