DALLAS - Non-conference action continues on for CUSA women's soccer as WKU and Delaware both remain unbeaten to start the season.

HILLTOPPERS KEEP CLIMBING
WKU is one of just two CUSA squads that remains unbeaten through four weeks of non-conference action. The Hilltoppers 3-0-2 record marks the first time since 2008 that they have gone unbeaten through their first seven contests. Mia Riddick recorded her league-leading fifth shutout of the young season. Georgia Liapis’ notched her fourth assist of the season, giving her the league lead in that category.

HENS HARD TO CRACK
The Blue Hens also remain unbeaten with a 3-0-3 overall record. UD has now recorded three straight clean sheets with its win at Bucknell last Thursday, 2-0. Cassandra Saldarini two second half goals which were the difference in the match. The Delaware defense has not allowed a goal in 300 straight minutes, dating back to the second half of its game against Navy on August 23. Sophia Hall has remained strong in net during non-conference action.

BLUE RAIDERS ROLLING EARLY
After dropping its first game of the season against Big Ten foe Purdue, the Blue Raiders bounced back in a big way defeating Alabama A&M 5-0 on Sunday. MTSU outshot Alabama A&M 17-1 and 9-0 on net. It was a total team effort win as five different Blue Raiders notched goals. MTSU has yet to concede a goal in three road contests. The five goals marked the most for a Blue Raider team since Sept. 5, 2024.

HOME SWEET HOME
The Lady Flames accounted for two more wins this week with a 2-0 triumph at William & Mary and a home win versus George Mason 4-3. Liberty made an incredible comeback down three goals to take down George Mason. LU’s most recent multi-goal comeback since 2021 when they came back from two down. Avenley Monteith notched a goal and an assist and now leads the team with six on the year. 

BEARKATS BOUNCE BACK
The Bearkats snagged their first two wins of the season last week over two in-state opponents in UTRGV and Texas Southern. Ashtyn Magnuson recorded her first career collegiate goal early in the first half in the 3-1 win over Texas Southern. Goalkeeper Hannah Stipp tallied eight saves in her fourth game of the season.
