C-USA Offensive Player of the Week – Aaliyah Nolan, North Texas, Sr., Warwick, Bermuda
Nolan scored the regular-season conference championship-winning goal in overtime at Middle Tennessee for the Mean Green. The senior netted both goals against the Blue Raiders in a 2-1 comeback win. Her second goal proved to be the game-winner and the score that clinched North Texas’ fourth C-USA regular-season championship in the last five years. The goal also secured the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament for the Mean Green.
C-USA Defensive Player of the Week – Nicole Roseland, WKU, Sr., Altamonte Springs, Florida
In the final match of her career for the Lady Toppers, Roseland played the entirety as a holding midfielder and led the defense to its third shutout of the season against Marshall. The senior anchored a stout effort that held the Herd to only a single shot on goal in the second half to stave off any chance at a comeback. In addition to her defensive efforts, Roseland tallied an assist on the match-winning goal in the 2-0 victory.
C-USA Goalkeeper of the Week – Jasmine Crawley, Old Dominion, Fr., Virginia Beach, Virginia
Crawley pitched a shutout against the No. 1 seeded regular-season co-champion, North Texas. The freshman held the Mean Green scoreless to tally her sixth shutout in her last seven outings. She made two crucial saves to keep North Texas out of the game and allow Old Dominion a 4-0 victory. Due to Crawley’s efforts, the Monarchs have allowed just 16 goals during the regular season, a new program record.
