Two C-USA Soccer Players Named to CoSIDA Academic All-American Teams

DALLAS  Two student-athletes from Conference USA were named 2021 United Soccer Coaches Academic All-Americans on Friday as Middle Tennessee midfielder Peyton DePriest received second team honors on the women’s side and Kentucky forward Brock Lindow received third team honors for the men.
                                         
DePriest has been a C-USA All-Academic selection on four occasions, as she holds a 4.0 GPA in her Leisure, Sport and Tourism Management/Sport Industry Master’s Program. She previously was a conference First Team All-Academic honoree in both 2018 and 2020 and Second Team All-Academic in 2019. The Blue Raider also received second team honors from CoSIDA last season. On the field, DePriest had 28 points, played a 1,680 minutes and had four assists on the season.
 
For the Wildcats, Lindow is a two-time C-USA All-Academic honoree, who holds a 3.96 GPA as a Computer Engineering major.  On the field of play, he gave Kentucky 609 minutes over 16 games played while making six starts.
