DALLAS – Middle Tennessee’s Marcel Kamrowski and Rice’s Diae El Jardi were named Conference USA Tennis November Athletes of the Month. The monthly awards are presented by Blenders Eyewear.

C-USA Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Month – Marcel Kamrowski, MTSU, Fr., Gdansk, Poland
Kamrowski showcased an impressive trip to the Georgia Tech Invitational. The freshman from Poland picked up four wins in three days with two of them coming against Power 5 opponents. He defeated Yale’s Luke Neal (6-3, 6-4) and went on to take down Theo Dean and Aiden Reilly of Yale with his doubles partner, Shu Matsuoka. Kamrowski ended the weekend going 2-for-2 on the final day picking up another doubles win (8-4) over Joubert Klopper and Nathan Cox of Vanderbilt and a singles victory over Georgia Tech’s Robert Bauer (6-4, 7-5).
 
C-USA Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Month – Diae El Jardi, Rice, 5Sr., Casablanca, Morocco
El Jardi posted an undefeated weekend in singles at the Rice Fall Invitational. She defeated Elena Trencheva (Houston) 6-1, 6-4, Paula Jimenez, Ana (UT Arlington) 6-4, 6-2 and Tina Li (BYU) 6-1, 7-6, all in straight sets. El Jardi also went 2-1 in doubles during the Fall Invitational.
