WBB: MTSU Advances to its Third Consecutive CUSA Championship Game with 71-63 Win Over WKU

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – It was a back-and-forth battle as No. 2 MTSU advances to the CUSA title game for the third consecutive year with a 71-63 win over No. 3 WKU in the semifinal round of the 2025 CUSA Championship Friday night at Propst Arena at the Von Braun Center.
 
Jalynn Gregory stepped up big for the Lady Raiders, draining three straight three-pointers with three minutes left in the fourth quarter to give MTSU a 65-59 lead. Gregory finished with 16 points, while Ta’Mia Scott recorded a team-high 17 points, along with eight rebounds. Savannah Davis came off the bench and posted a career-high 13 points. Anastasiia Boldyreva notched her 11th double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds.  
 
MTSU will go head-to-head with top-seeded Liberty in Saturday’s championship game, which begins at 4:30 p.m. CT on CBS Sports Network.
