DALLAS – WKU’s Georgia Liapis, LA Tech’s Madeline Gray and Missouri State’s Ella Becker earned Conference USA Women’s Soccer Player of the Week honors.
 
Offensive Player of the Week – Georgia Liapis, WKU – Junior – Plainfield, Ill.
Liapis earns Offensive Player of the Week after netting her fifth goal of the season in WKU’s (4-4-1, 1-0 CUSA) 2-1 CUSA-opening win over Kennesaw State. The junior midfielder leads the Hilltoppers in both goals and shots (24). Liapis ranks top five in CUSA in goals, shots and points (11). Her five goals this fall are already the most in a single season of her career.
 
Defensive Player of the Week – Madeline Gray, LA Tech – Sophomore – Corinth, Miss.
Gray was superb on the back line for the Bulldogs (2-8-1, 1-0 CUSA) as they blanked the Miners in their first CUSA match of the fall, 2-0. The sophomore from Corinth, Miss., tallied her first career goal and game-winner in the 42^nd minute of action off the bench. Gray and the Bulldogs applied pressure all match en route to their second shutout win of the season.
 
Goalkeeper of the Week – Ella Becker, Missouri State – Redshirt Junior – St. Louis, Mo.
Becker becomes the first Bear to bring home a CUSA weekly honor in 2025 as she held the powerful Liberty offense scoreless in a 0-0 draw in their league opener. The redshirt junior collected six key saves for Missouri State (3-5-2, 0-0-1 CUSA) and notched her third shutout of the campaign. Her remarkable play in net helped the Bears secure their first-ever CUSA point.
