KENNESAW, Ga. – No. 1 Jax State defeated No. 6 WKU 12-11 on day three of the 2026 CUSA Baseball Championship Friday afternoon from Mickey Dunn Stadium at Henssler Financial Field on the campus of Kennesaw State. The Gamecocks will take on No. 4 Dallas Baptist on Saturday at 11 a.m. ET in the semifinal round.  
 
Jax State trailed 8-4 entering the seventh inning until Cooper Blauser tied the game with a triple to center field. WKU had a 11-10 lead as the Gamecocks entered the ninth. Brady Thomas scored on a Matthew Cash sac fly to tie the game again at 11-11. Sam Richardson was the hero, ripping a walk-off single to left field with two outs in the ninth.
 
Skyler Hutto earned his fifth win of the season, coming in for the Gamecocks in the eighth and ninth innings.
