KENNESAW, Ga. – No. 3 Missouri State eliminated No. 7 Kennesaw State 6-4 on day two of the 2026 CUSA Baseball Championship Thursday evening from Mickey Dunn Stadium at Henssler Financial Field on the campus of Kennesaw State. The Bears will battle it out with Dallas Baptist on Friday at 4 p.m. ET to round out pool C play.
Brant Kragel had a stellar game for the Bears, finishing 2-4 with a home run, a double and four RBI.
Carter Bergman and
Curry Sutherland each blasted a solo home run in the seventh and eighth innings respectively.
Max Knight earned his sixth win of the season after tossing 3.2 innings in relief for Missouri State. The left-hander had four strikeouts and two earned runs. Sutherland moved from third base to the mound in the final 1.2 innings, securing his second save of the year with four strikeouts.
