KENNESAW, Ga. – No. 2 Liberty knocked off No. 5 LA Tech 6-0 on day three of the 2026 CUSA Baseball Championship Friday morning from Mickey Dunn Stadium at Henssler Financial Field on the campus of Kennesaw State. The Flames will await the outcome of No. 6 WKU/No. 1 Jax State to determine their semifinal opponent.
 
Liberty earns its 40^th win of the season for the first time since 2019 and the sixth time in program history. Five of the Flames’ six runs were scored by home runs, including a 3-run bomb by Josh Campos at the bottom of the seventh. Nick Barone finished 2-4 with a home run, a double and one RBI.
 
Jake Potts earned his third win of the season after tossing 3.1 innings in relief for Liberty with four strikeouts.
