MSOC: 14 Named to All-Southeast Region Teams

DALLAS – For the second consecutive year, 14 Conference USA men’s soccer student-athletes have landed on the 2018 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I All-Southeast Region Teams. Five C-USA programs are represented across the three teams.

Charlotte leads the league with five members overall. C-USA Defensive MVP and MAC Hermann semifinalist Callum Montgomery is joined on first team by midfielder Tommy Madden. Goalkeeper Elliot Panicco, midfielder Teddy Chaouche and forward Daniel Bruce were named to the third team.
 
Kentucky recorded four first team honorees, headlined by C-USA Player of the Year and Offensive MVP and MAC Hermann semifinalist, JJ Williams. Goalkeeper Enrique Facusse, midfielder Kalil ElMedkhar and defender Aimé Mabika, all First Team All-C-USA selections, round out the Wildcats’ selections.
 
Max Wilschrey and Niko Klosterhalfen, both First Team All-Conference team members, represent Old Dominion. Wilschrey is a first team midfielder and Klosterhalfen is a second team midfielder.
 
FIU recorded two honorees on this year’s teams – forward Santiago Patino and midfielder Joris Ahlinvi.
 
Rounding out the conference’s selections is UAB defender Mathieu Laurent.
