MSOC: Marshall's Yosef Named All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. Marshall men’s soccer redshirt freshman Milo Yosef was tabbed a United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-American, the organization announced Thursday. He is the first to receive the honor in program history and one of three freshmen across all three teams.

Yosef led the Herd and Conference USA with 12 goals and 27 points as Marshall produced their best season in program history that concluded in the third round of the NCAA Tournament. The Aachen, Germany, native paced Marshall to their first C-USA regular season and championship titles.
 
He scored a conference-leading five game winners as the Herd put together a program-record 16 wins. The C-USA Offensive MVP and Freshman of the Year tallied 58 shots (2.64 per game) in his explosive first season.
 
The forward is the first Marshall player to score 10 or more goals in a season since 2011. Yosef finished the season tied for 20th in the nation in total goals, tied for 29th in total points and 47th in goals per game.
