DALLAS – Conference USA tabbed 11 student-athletes to its 2021 C-USA Men’s Soccer All-Academic Team Friday afternoon. Seven schools are represented with Charlotte, FIU, Florida Atlantic and University of Kentucky each having two student-athletes earn spots on the list, while Coastal Carolina, Marshall, and Old Dominion are highlighted as well.
Student-athletes honored all had at least a 3.5 GPA and featured majors in Business Administration, Communications, Economics, History, Sport Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering and Criminal Justice. Three graduates were chosen who are currently pursuing master’s degrees at their respective universities. Additionally, Kareem Riley, a Criminal Justice and Communications student, is receiving his second bachelor’s degree from FIU.
Daniel Skistad of Florida Atlantic has been an All-Academic selection once before, as he earned a 3.923 GPA in his Masters of Business Administration Program. Skistad, previously was one of 10 All-Academic honorees this past spring. Brock Lindow, a senior at Kentucky, is also a second time All-Academic honoree, who holds a 3.96 GPA as a Computer Engineering major. Lindow, was a part of the 2020 Conference USA All-Academic Team.
The 2021 Conference USA Men’s Soccer Championship will be held November 10-14 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
